Privacy Policy

1. Data controller

The data controller is the BTLH business network: its identification and contact details are shown in the box above. For any request about your personal data, you can write to the controller's email address.

2. What data we process

Browsing data. Like any website, the systems that run this site record some technical data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, page visited, browser type and operating system. We use it only to keep the site working and secure, not to identify visitors.

Data you send us through the contact form. First name, last name, email address, phone number (optional), the firm or professional you are contacting (optional) and the text of your message. Please do not include health data, criminal records or other special categories of data in your message unless strictly necessary.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Replying to your request for information or contact: processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Protecting the form from spam and abuse with Google reCAPTCHA and keeping the site secure: the controller's legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. How we process your data and how long we keep it

Requests sent through the form are not stored in a website database: they are forwarded by email to the BTLH network inbox and, if you select one, to the firm or professional you chose. You receive a confirmation email with a summary of your message.

Messages remain in the recipients' mailboxes for as long as needed to handle your request. If a professional engagement follows, data is kept for the period required by the legal obligations connected to it. Browsing data is kept only as long as strictly necessary for security purposes.

5. Who we share your data with

• The BTLH network firms and professionals involved in replying, in particular the one you may have selected.
• Providers that run the website hosting and email service on our behalf, appointed as data processors.
• Google, for the reCAPTCHA service (see sections 6 and 7).

Your data is not published or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Transfers outside the European Union

The reCAPTCHA service may involve transferring data to the United States, to Google LLC, which participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023). More information in Google's Privacy Policy.

7. Cookies

This site uses technical cookies only: no profiling, analytics or marketing cookies. For this reason your consent is not required and no cookie banner is shown (Italian Data Protection Authority cookie guidelines of 10 June 2021).

• Google reCAPTCHA (Contact page only): sets technical cookies, such as _GRECAPTCHA, to tell people apart from automated programs and protect the form from spam. Details in Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• Restricted area: a session cookie is used only by authorised staff signing in to the content management panel.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; if you block reCAPTCHA cookies, the contact form may not work.

8. Whether providing data is mandatory

Providing your data is optional, but the fields marked as required in the form are needed to reply to you: without them we cannot follow up on your request.

9. Your rights

At any time you can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15-22 GDPR), by writing to the controller's email address. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated, for example if the services used by the site change. The date of the last update is shown at the bottom of the page.
